Gambler:
Starting a business is one of the riskiest things you can do, and it’s not for the faint-hearted. You love rolling the dice and eagerly await the results of your strategic moves. Your ability to enjoy risk lets you make bold moves with fortitude — and big risks can lead to big rewards. However, you can become addicted to the adrenaline rush of uncertainty. You may feel bored and restless when, in fact, your company is doing very well — and make a dangerous move that’s uncalled-for.
Evolutionary:
You’re able to react to changes in the marketplace and move your business forward as the road twists and turns. This trait allows you to guide your business in the direction most likely for success — even if it’s different from your original vision. But not all change is good, appropriate, or necessary. If you become entranced with every fad in the marketplace, you may have difficulty distinguishing between a substantive shift that you need to react to and a flash in the pan that you can ignore.
Pitbull:
Your highly competitive nature impels you to try harder when faced with obstacles. You can sniff out weaknesses in the competition and immediately move to exploit them — with relish. The aggressive trait makes your work exciting and helps you stand up to adversity. On the downside, too much of an emphasis on beating the competition can distract you from focusing on making your own business the best it can be. While some employees may be thrilled to be on your team, you risk losing those who could help you on the softer side, with negotiations and partnering.
